Overview
Reliable point-of-sale software that never stops is the foundation of a professional retail business. Unfortunately, many POS programs fall short and also require a permanent internet connection. In some hypermarkets and petrol stations of well-known chains, you can still see sales stopped because of stocktaking or a goods delivery.
XPOS was built for shops that need sales software that works reliably, whatever happens. It guarantees continuous 24/7 operation with full automation of cash collection and fiscal printer processes.
XPOS runs on touchscreen terminals and handles sales at points of sale (POS). It is designed for companies with medium and high turnover. Since it can be integrated with any major ERP system, implementing and running it requires no special extra investment of time or money. Simple, intuitive operation makes sales processes easier to manage and avoids most errors caused by the human factor.
The interface is optimised for intuitiveness and comfort. All active elements on the touchscreen (buttons, sliders, etc.) are large enough to make them easy to tap.
The software is built for continuous operation, without interruptions for stocktaking, closing fiscal periods and the like. Another key advantage is that XPOS can run sales without a permanent internet connection. Sales can be processed offline; all data is stored and synchronised automatically with the central system once a connection is available.
XPOS is the result of our many years of experience in building software that serves up to 250 shops and 500 POS stations at the same time. It is our own product, written entirely in-house from scratch. Years of continuous development by our team are the best guarantee of its stability and reliability.
Hardware
XPOS runs on any touchscreen terminal, including devices from ELO, SHARP, TCG, Toshiba, Sony and FEC. This makes it a great fit wherever a stable internet connection can’t be guaranteed, for companies with many points of sale (including in harsh conditions), and for businesses that want to streamline and professionalise their processes.
Supported devices
XPOS provides complete POS operation through wireless cooperation with other devices involved in the sales process. It works with:
- fiscal printers (all supporting the POSNET protocol)*
- cash drawers
- payment terminals
- barcode scanners
- magnetic card readers (user authorisation — each user has their own access card)
- mobile data collectors (stocktaking)
* Besides standard receipts, the fiscal printer also prints non-fiscal documents — returns, cash collection forms, denomination reports and even price labels — so no additional printer is needed in the shop.
ERP integration
XPOS integrates with any major ERP system (Comarch XL, MS Dynamics AX, MS Dynamics NAV, SAP and others), which makes implementation exceptionally easy and free of extra costs.

Savings
Our system lets you set up exceptionally low-cost points of sale. All you need to run a shop is a computer with a fiscal printer, a card payment terminal and a barcode scanner. All printouts, including price labels and cash collection reports, come from the fiscal printer — no additional devices required.
XPOS shortens sales, cash and stock processes, which increases productivity and keeps customers happy, because peak hours are handled more smoothly.

Sales

Customer returns
Returns are handled across the entire chain, regardless of where the item was bought (configurable). The cashier scans the barcode on the customer’s receipt and the system finds the original transaction automatically.
Internal consumption
Recording goods used by employees for internal purposes.
Advanced delivery notification and goods receipt
The system automatically notifies about incoming deliveries, reducing handling time. Goods receipt includes an additional verification step that limits mistakes.
Advanced cash collection
The system creates denomination reports and cash handover forms for the collection service (e.g. Polish Post). Sales staff don’t fill in any forms or count denominations. The module is also used for cash drawer counts, reducing cashier errors.
Procedures, instructions and documents for sales staff
Managers can remotely manage the library of documents available in XPOS (procedures, instructions, documents).
Operations for regional managers
- Stocktaking (mobile devices) by category without blocking sales, or full stocktaking.
- Up-to-date stock levels in the central accounting system.
Cash drawer counts
Managers can check the cash drawer, correct it and report changes to head office, together with information about the cashier currently logged in.
Damaged goods
Supports reporting damaged goods and labelling them correctly.
Training mode
Lets you run training sessions on the live system without any risk of damaging data. Users learn the options in the actual shop system; once training ends, the system returns to the data from before the session.
User instructions
Every XPOS module displays detailed on-screen instructions for the user, including for recording transactions. All instructions are set by the system administrators.
Remote configuration
XPOS settings can be changed centrally from the management module, including sending new procedures, information and guidelines to points of sale — for example, changing the promotional text printed on fiscal receipts.
XPI management program
XPOS comes with the XPI program for managing points of sale. It allows you to:
- configure XPOS settings in all shops, such as:
- cash collection times
- additional information on fiscal printouts (e.g. promotions, website address)
- user card functions (authorisation)
- instructions for users shown on every screen of the sales program
