XSHAKER – positioning on price comparison sites
For online shops listed on price comparison sites (e.g. ceneo.pl), constantly monitoring competitor prices and adjusting your own is one of the most time-consuming tasks. It also carries a high risk of human error, which can lead to prices set too low (unprofitable) or competitor price changes being missed. Naturally, most attention goes to the best-selling products, so prices of most other products are updated less often.
XSHAKER lets you manage your prices intelligently, accurately and safely based on competitor prices, while optimising your margin. It handles an unlimited number of products (a person can manage the prices of about 1,000 products at most) and analyses competitor prices up to dozens of times a day.
Benefits at a glance
Business security
The program has a built-in safeguard that prevents it from setting a price below the defined minimum (i.e. selling at too low a margin).
With XSHAKER you don’t have to give pricing access to many people whose work is very hard to monitor.
Automation and efficiency
The program monitors prices around the clock, so it reacts immediately to competitors’ moves.
XSHAKER lets you change your pricing policy instantly and update prices for many thousands of products in a very short time.
Additional benefits
The program runs fully automatically and flawlessly does the work of a dozen people or more.
XSHAKER lets you control your shop’s market position by keeping the prices of all products competitive — not just the most popular ones.
How it works
XSHAKER integrates with your existing e-commerce software and can change product prices on its own. It runs 24/7, monitoring prices in competing shops, so it responds to price changes as they happen. At the same time, XSHAKER makes sure your prices are neither too low (losing margin unnecessarily) nor too high (making other shops more competitive). Automatic pricing is safe, because XSHAKER never lowers a price below the minimum you set.
Automatic pricing is based on:
- the product purchase price taken from the central system,
- how long the product has been in stock (optional),
- the manufacturer (optional),
- target margins set by the shop (percentage or fixed),
- current competitor prices.
XSHAKER runs unattended but requires a 24/7 internet connection. The only time-consuming part is configuring the program correctly and defining the right pricing rules.
